For some celebrities, giving back to the community is of the utmost importance – or at the very least – good for their public persona. Outside of charitable endeavors, there are a number of big named stars who are promoting healthy food products and lifestyle choices. In fact, some celebs have even gone so far as to start (or at least invest in) their very own food product lines.

While some entertainers have created products that focus on health, others have decided to share their own personal family recipes. Many of these famous entrepreneurs have chosen to attach their names to the products. Conversely, other stars have opted to invest in a product that doesn’t bare their name, but even in those cases, they are often very involved with the brand.

Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis was born in Rome, Italy and made a name for herself by creating dished associated with her homeland. She is perhaps best known as the host of the Food Network program Giada at Home. The 48-year-old also fills in as a co-host for The Today Show from time-to-time. In 2012, De Laurentiis officially became a member of the Culinary Hall of Fame.

Being that she’s a famous chef, it makes sense that Food Networks star would have her own line of products. Her brand, Simply 7, features Non-GMO snacks like Organic Veggie Chips, Hummus Chips, and various flavors of popcorn.

In truth, the 43-year-old entrepreneur is probably best known for his high-profile relationship with Modern Family star Sofia Vergara. In fact, the two were even engaged at one point, back in 2014.

In 2006, he launched his company Loeb’s Foods and is also the owner of Crunchy Condiment Company. The latter company is behind Onion Crunch – a popular onion-flavored snack food. Shaker Heights, Ohio’s Paul Newman was an Academy Award-winning actor who starred in some legendary films. The Color of Money, Cool Hand Luke, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid are among the movies he’s featured in. Sadly, the iconic actor passed away in 2008 – he was 83-years-old.

Of all the brands on our list, Newman’s Own is the oldest and probably the most recognized. The actor, along with author A. E. Hotchner founded the company back in 1982.
