Chase Field's Massive Royal Rumble Burger Is The Stuff Of Both Dreams & Nightmares

Chase Field, home of baseball team the Arizona Diamondbacks, is selling a limited edition burger and it is really something to behold.

There are quite literally thousands of different takes on the humble burger. Not only around the world but often in one establishment. Okay, not thousands of variations in one place, but you know what we're getting at. There is almost an endless amount of things you can do with a burger and you would have to imagine most of those combinations have now already been seen.

Fried chicken, halloumi, veal, even things like a sushi burger or more exotic fare such as kangaroo and ostrich. Then there's the toppings, the sauces, the bun. As we said, you can do whatever you like. However, despite the vast amount of different burgers we have consumed in our time on this Earth, we have never seen something quite like this.

It's called the Royal Rumble burger, and it looks like it might weigh almost as much as one of the participants in a WWE Royal Rumble match. The main event of the sandwich is an 18 oz. bratwurst patty. That is topped with cheddar cheese, smoked bacon, crispy coleslaw, fried onions, and BBQ aioli which is all crammed into a toasted onion roll. As if all of that wasn't enough, the burger is then topped with three fried mac and cheese wedges.

The Royal Rumble burger comes to you from the minds of those behind the culinary scenes at Chase Field, home of MLB's Arizona Diamondbacks. This Sunday, the stadium will play host to WWE's Royal Rumble, hence the burger's name. The Royal Rumble is the biggest match in wrestling, so it only seems right that fans can eat the biggest burger possible while watching it if you ask us.

While WWE Superstar Seth Rollins can't wait to give the burger a try, his locker room buddy Daniel Bryan is not quite as excited. Bryan, who will be defending his WWE Championship at Royal Rumble, is an avid vegan and promotes anything and everything good for the environment. As you can imagine, a burger like this is a slap in the face to anyone who lives that lifestyle.
