Chick-Fil-A And DoorDash Will Soon Be Delivering And Waffle Fries Right To Your Door

If you’re a Chick-fil-A fan, we have some great news for you-- the restaurant chain is partnering with Doordash, which means you can now have your favorite Chick-fil-A items delivered right to your doorstep!

The popular fast food joint known for its chicken sandwiches and waffle fries said Tuesday that it would begin delivering from more than 1,100 of its restaurants around the United States. Chick-fil-A announced the move as part of a nationwide partnership with DoorDash, the online food delivery service that allows customers to select from a variety of restaurants in their area.

According to The Chicken Wire, Chick-fil-A is also offering some free food to celebrate the new partnership. For a limited time, when you place a Chick-fil-A order that is more than $5 with DoorDash, you can also score a free chicken sandwich! Just use code “cfadelivery” at checkout. The giveaway will be available daily after 10:30 a.m. local time, but hurry because there are only 200,000 sandwiches to give away and once they’re gone, they’re gone!

To maintain both DoorDash's commitment to high-quality service and Chick-fil-A's food quality, deliveries will be made to customers within a 10-minute radius of participating restaurants. "So many of our guests' busy lives and family commitments have them strapped for time. Delivery is one way we can help them get a quick yet high quality meal," said Jon Bridges, Chick-fil-A senior vice president and chief marketing officer. "If they're unable to come to us, we'll come to them."

Chick-fil-A had been testing delivery with DoorDash since 2017, and with other partners in select cities, the company said. Since the pilot project began, both Chick-fil-A and DoorDash have invested in custom-built technology integrations to ensure order accuracy and a smooth delivery experience for customers. The Chicken Wire reports that ninety-eight percent of respondents who used DoorDash during the pilot project said the food they ordered was consistent with what they expected from Chick-fil-A. The delivery test also revealed that delivery sales are highest for restaurants near hospitals and universities, that orders usually peak during dinner and on cold weather days and that ninety percent of DoorDash orders include Chick-fil-A Waffle Fries.
