Man Arrested After Passing Out In A Taco Bell Drive-Thru Lane

A man rang in the new year last week by being arrested while passed out a Taco Bell drive-thru during the early hours of New Year's Day.

Many of you reading this are likely big fans of fast food. As much as those who claim to not like it and label it garbage are ever-present in our lives, chains such as McDonald's and KFC really must be doing something right. Those franchises and more quite literally have thousands of restaurants scattered all over the world.

Those of you who do love fast food will be able to relate all too well to the cravings that come along with it. There is no real way of explaining those cravings exactly, and there is nothing else quite like it. Something as trivial as hearing the name Wendy can make your brain, or perhaps your stomach, demand that you run out there and then to get it a Baconator and a Frosty. Sorry if we have inadvertently triggered that within you right now.

There is also nothing quite like a fast food fix after a big night out. However, you better hope that there is somewhere relatively nearby as it should go without saying, clambering into your car while intoxicated is one of the most stupid things a person can do. Clearly, that thought didn't cross the mind of a man in Sonoma, California during the early hours of New Year's Day.

Police discovered Abel Macedonia-Gutierrez passed out in the driver's seat of his car on New Year's morning. A worrying enough discovery in any situation. However, to make matters worse, Mr. Macdonia-Guiterrez's car was stopped right in the middle of a Taco Bell drive-thru lane. When awoken by the officers, the weary fast-food patron appeared intoxicated, refused to leave his vehicle, and was eventually removed by force reports the San Francisco Chronicle.

Following his removal from the vehicle, officers administered a blood-alcohol level test and he was booked into jail on suspicion of drink driving. At the time of typing this, it is unknown as to whether the gentlemen has been charged. We're also unsure as to whether he managed to get his taco fix before he passed out and was arrested.
