TheRecipe Presents: Cookie Monster Treats To Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth

January is coming to a close, meaning it is already time to start thinking about Valentine’s Day. Get a jump on your Love Day plans with some sweet treat recipes that are sure to please any recipient, featuring everybody’s favorite cookie connoisseur, Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster.

Cookie Monster Bark

Cookie Dough

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 3 tbsp of milk
  • 1 1/4 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of mini chocolate chips

Chocolate layers

  • 2 bags of white chocolate chips
  • Blue food coloring


  • Candy eyes
  • Chips Ahoy
  • Oreos


  • Using a mixer, combine melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla, salt, and milk.
  • Add the flour and mix. The mixture will appear dough-like.
  • Add the mini chocolate chips.
  • Melt white chocolate chips.
  • Mix in the blue food coloring to the melted white chocolate.
  • Using a 9x12” pan, coat with a thin layer of blue chocolate.
  • Allow chocolate to set for 10-15 minutes until firm, then add all of the cookie dough mixture.
  • Top-off cookie dough with any remaining chocolate.
  • Adorn with candy eyes, Oreos and Chips Ahoy.
  • Enjoy!

Cookie Monster Cupcakes


  • White cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • Oil
  • Chips Ahoy
  • Oreos


  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • 2 tbsp of heavy cream
  • 3 cups of powdered sugar
  • Blue food coloring


  • Large candy eyes
  • Chips Ahoy


  • Make a white cake mix according to package instructions, then combine with eggs and oil.
  • Add blue food coloring.
  • Next, add Chips Ahoy and Oreos.
  • Spoon mixture into a wrapper-lined cupcake pan and bake until a toothpick comes out clean after poking the cake (12-18 minutes).
  • For the buttercream recipe, add two sticks of softened butter to a mixer and mix until creamed.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Add heavy cream and powdered sugar and beat until stiff.
  • Mix in blue food coloring.
  • Unwrap and enjoy!

Cookie Monster Ice Cream


  • 4 cups of heavy cream
  • Blue food coloring
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Chips Ahoy
  • Mini Oreos
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • Candy eyes


  • Combine 4 cups of heavy cream and blue food coloring.
  • Beat mixture until stiff peaks form (5-12 minutes).
  • Fold in mini chocolate chips, Chips Ahoy, Mini Oreos, and sweetened condensed milk.
  • Place into freezer safe container.
  • Add more cookies on top.
  • Freeze for 4-8 hours.
  • Top with candy eyes and enjoy!

Cookie Monster Popcorn


  • Popcorn
  • Marshmallows
  • Blue food coloring
  • Mini Oreos
  • Mini Chips Ahoy
  • Candy eyes


  • Make popcorn.
  • Melt marshmallows in microwave.
  • Add blue food coloring to mixture.
  • Combine popcorn and marshmallow mixture.
  • Add in Mini Oreos and Mini Chips Ahoy, and stir until combined
  • Top with candy eyes.
  • Serve and enjoy!
