6 VEGAN MOZZARELLA
Vegan Heaven showed us how to make our very own mozzarella! All you'll need is four ingredients: cashews, lemon juice, plant-based milk, and phyillium seeds. You may need some additional water and nutritional yeast if needed!
Blend all of the ingredients together until they're smooth. Then, pour the liquid into a bowl where it needs to be placed in the refrigerator for about four hours. Once it's chilled, feel free to cut into pieces and add some olive oil or balsamic for flavor!
5 SMOKED GOUDA
The Hidden Veggies has an awesome recipe for smoked gouda that would make any grilled cheese elegant. The one tricky ingredient that may be hard to find—but is totally needed—is liquid smoke to give the cheese that smokey taste. All you'll need is coconut milk, water, nutritional yeast, salt, liquid smoke, and agar-agar. Pour all the ingredients into a saucepan where you'll still to a slow boil for six minutes. Once smooth, pour into a covered bowl and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Then, place in the fridge for at least two hours until the cheese takes shape.
4 CHEESE SAUCE
